Dr. Sharla Seunarine | General & Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Sharla Seunarine earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Psychology from the State University of New York at Stonybrook in 2001 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006.
She later completed her general practice dental residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in 2007. Dr. Sharla Seunarine is a member of the Queens County Dental Society (QCDS) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Sapan Mukahtiyar is a part-time dentist at Liberty Dental Care PC and a full-time dentist at Woodside Family Dental.
Dr. Mukahtiyar graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed an extensive general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He has continuing training in Implant dentistry, Invisalign, Lumineers and other various aspects of dentistry to improve the patient’s smile. Dr. Mukhatiyar loves serving his community and is proud to tell you he grew up in our very own neighborhood.
Dr. Jeffrey Chu | Periodontic & Dental Implants Specialist
Dr. Jeffrey Chu is a part-time dentist at Liberty Dental Care PC and a full-time dentist at Woodside Family Dental. Dr. Chu received his DDS degree from the NYU College of Dentistry, and his certificate in Periodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chu has been invited to numerous research and professional meetings to present his research on oral cancer and the effective use of lasers in periodontal surgery.
He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of periodontitis, soft and hard tissue cosmetic procedures, guided tissue regeneration, single or full-mouth reconstruction with implants, and internal or lateral-window sinus elevation. Dr. Chu believes periodontists play a supportive role in dentistry. He is often called on to provide instruction and assistance to general practitioners for implant placement, restoration and a variety of other surgical procedures.
Dr. Amber Chu | Endodontic/Root Canal Specialist
Dr. Amber Chu is a part-time dentist at Liberty Dental Care PC and a full-time dentist at Woodside Family Dental. Dr. Chu received her DDS degree from the NYU College of Dentistry. She practiced general dentistry for 6 years prior to entering Endodontic training at the University of Southern California. Dr. Chu has been invited to present in numerous professional meetings for her research on “the irrigation patterns of NaOCl”.
Dr. Amber Chu is known for her ability to calm anxious patients. Being dental phobic herself, she perfected the technique of painless injection and developed a chairside manner that comforts the most fearful patients. With her background in general dentistry, she develops a treatment plan tailored to each individual with a restorative perspective. Dr. Chu also enjoys communicating with her referring dentists.
